Summer is in full swing now and we hope that your businesses are benefiting from the increase number of summer visitors and locals out enjoying the Island.

Remember to take time to enjoy the nice days to rejuvenate and spend time with family & friends!

We are busy working on a few ideas for the Fall and also will be announcing very soon the Chamber Perks App! This is an app that anyone can have on their phone and it allows them to find a chamber member location and their details and the chamber member will also have the opportunity to offer a "perk" or a discount to anyone using these apps.
We are happy to join the Summerside and West Prince Chamber in this initiative and excited to launch it soon!
Welcome back Maleah!
We are very happy to welcome back Maleah Welton for the summer position with the Kensington & Area Chamber this summer!

Maleah is a recent KISH graduate who enjoys being involved in her community through sports and work. When she is not working, you can find her on the soccer field coaching, or the rugby pitch training. Before leaving the island for university in the fall, she is looking forward to once again spending the summer in the Kensington area visiting chamber members and supporting our local businesses!

KACC CAR RALLY
The first KACC car rally was held in June! Saw some great photos and heard a lot of stories and laughs! All the teams visited some of our members along the route. Congratulation to the top team, Angie Brighty and Team Green and most spirited team went to the Minions!
Julie & Maleah, attended the Greater Summerside Chamber of Commerce AGM on June 29th!

The keynote speaker was Doug MacLean & Mayor Dan Kutcher and Hon Gilles Arsenault gave an Economic Update.

Message from the Mayor
Did You Know – At one time the Kensington Police Services did not patrol the streets 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You may have noticed the Kensington Police Services are now out on patrol all day every day. This will provide a better level of security in the Town of Kensington and also ensure traffic is monitored 24 hours a day. This is one more step the Town of Kensington is doing to make sure our town continues to be the best place to live and work.

Under the Spire Music Festival has been bringing the very best in classical, traditional, folk, jazz and world music to Historic St. Mary’s since 1996. An annual destination event for tourists and locals alike, it continues to facilitate restoration projects to preserve this beloved venue while maintaining a busy concert schedule from June-September each year.
