SURVEY: PEI Tourism Service Delivery Model Modernization Project
Prince Edward Island’s (PEI) 2022 – 2023 tourism industry strategy, Charting the Course for Tourism in PEI for the Next Two Years, was launched on March 4, 2022. The Strategy identified the need for a review and modernization of PEI’s tourism service delivery model to ensure it meets the current and future needs of the Island’s tourism industry (identified as Initiative 16 within the Strategy). A joint industry and government Strategy Implementation Committee has been established to oversee and guide implementation.

As a tourism stakeholder in PEI, we invite you to share your perspective in a brief online survey, and to share within your local economic development and tourism networks and clients. The survey will take 10 – 12 minutes to complete. Responses will be analyzed in aggregate and be kept strictly confidential. No personal information will be made public.
Your participation is important as it will help inform tourism policy and investment decisions.
Please be assured that this is a legitimate research study being conducted by Twenty31 Consulting, on behalf of the tourism industry on PEI.
Tourism Digitization & Readiness Fund (TDR)
A new Tourism Digitization & Readiness Fund (TDR) has been established by the Central Development Corporation to support Tourism SMEs on Prince Edward Island to accelerate the adoption of digital technology.

The Fund will help tourism operators modernize and enhance their operations and tourism products in order to improve the visitor and employee experience. The Fund is now open to for-profit tourism businesses which cater mainly to visitors to Prince Edward Island. Approved applicants are eligible for a grant of up to $50,000 for up to 50% of eligible project costs.

Applications will be accepted starting November 22, 2022. Projects must be completed by February 28, 2023 without exception.

For further information on the TDR Fund, please contact Barb Weeks, Executive Director of CDC at: barb@centralpei.ca.
