In seven short days, we will call it a wrap on Q1 for the year. That means, 25% of the calendar is finished. That's right, 1/4 of the year is completed. So I have a really important question to ask you. It's a doozy.
"How's that New Year's resolution going"?
Ha! Sorry, not sorry.
Look, 90 days ago we made promises to ourselves, obligatory statements proclaiming self-improvement, that if left unchecked could result in a horrific tale of woe.
Whatever you confided in your journal 3 months ago or sketched on a sticky note and stuck to your bathroom mirror, it's not too late to evaluate how that becomes part of your present tense story! Don't let the absence of change keep you from changing. Or, maybe you're knocking it out of the park!? If that's the case, why not share it so we can all celebrate together! If you're about to run your first 5K or launch a new brand, let's pop the confetti and raise a glass about it!
Change is always evident at the cusp of each season. Spring is here and soon there will be visible buds on trees and the grass will green to it's emerald likeness. We have a front row seat to growth and cyclical patterns that remind us that every season brings forth new and exciting opportunities! The gray skies and rain always make way for garden beds decorated with pops of color. Resolutions are like the rain, necessary for growth and change.
Friends, evaluate your last 90 days. Think about the 90 to come and shake things up, or don't. Only you can decide what comes next! What's next at the chamber is our Annual Golf Outing on May 19th followed by the Spring Food Truck Festival on May 22nd! Sign-up, mark your calendar, and be resolute about it!
