Celebration Point is the new shopping plaza on Celebration Avenue by World Drive and the High School. It sports an art deco design that gives it a really retro vibe. It is home to the new Publix, which has a very user-friendly layout and a Cafe upstairs. If you are looking for a quiet place to meet up with a friend, that is a great spot to grab a sandwich and get a little grocery shopping done in one stop. Speaking of sandwiches...we are so excited that Jersey Mike's is opening a location in the complex. I LOVE THEIR ITALIAN SUBS..."Mike's Way," of course (no onions if I am with clients!)

Slim Chickens is a great southern-style fried chicken joint and I absolutely love that they offer fried okra. Their potato salad is unique as well with the addition of ranch and bacon. The name is fun, just like the staff. But I must admit that I do prefer my chickens plump and juicy (haha).

What else are we excited about? All of the places that are coming soon:

Jeff's Bagel Run (yes...I don't have to drive to College Park just for rosemary bagels anymore!); Celebration Brewing Company (we now have our own brew in town); and Bubbakoo's Burritos (because you can never have too much Mexican).

If you are a Gen-Xer like myself, you are probably excited that Fatburger (featured in many 80's rap tunes) just opened up as well. It was the first time I ever had a fried egg on my burger. Gotta love a chain that is headquartered in the 90210.

Every lady needs a place to grab a nice outfit when she has NOTHING to wear and Apricot Lane Boutique does not disappoint. I bought 3 new outfits in under an hour...go figure! It has great looks for women of all ages and fun accessories. I love supporting a local business too, owned by a Celebration resident.

• We leave at 10am .. ride 10 miles ...at 10 mph (get it ?)
• 10 mph is a leisurely and conversational pace.
• We return to the park about 11:15 am 
• We ride in Celebration - an easy route - with a lead rider - on quiet shady streets - you can't get lost - or left behind
• You can ride - any bike - electric assist is fine... and no fancy clothes needed either!
• You can be a new or experienced rider….this "pedal parade" is about meeting people, conversation and fun.
• Bring a few bucks and join us at the Tavern after the ride.
