After a more than three year wait, AMERICA's largest YOUTH netball tournament is loaded and ready for action! The JUNIOR Florida Netball Classic is scheduled for April 15th - 16th, 2023!!! WHO WILL TAKE HOME THE COVETED GRACE BAILEY MEMORIAL TROPHY !!

With just about one (1) month remaining before tip off, teams from all over the world are finalizing their preparations. School and clubs from as far as South Africa, Australia and New Zealand have all shown increased interest in being a part of the youth netball explosion currently happening in the Americas! Below are some important notices for all team managers:

• Due to demand issues, the deadline for booking accommodations has been rolled back to Friday, March 24th. Please note that it mandatory to make your reservations using the booking links provided in the accommodations section below to qualify for your refund. Charges to credit cards are not processed until check-in. If booking after cut of date, rooms are subject to availability and prices may increase between $50 to $100 per room/per night.
• Deadline for payment of registration fees is this Friday, March 17th. Payment can be made using the payment link in the registration section below or by requesting an invoice for payment at netball@4tors.com. Alternate payment methods will be provided with invoice.
• Along with your registration fee payment, team managers are requested to submit their team sheets, complete with D.O.B's of all athletes for determination of age category. Document can be downloaded HERE and sent to netball@4tors.com.
• During the tournament, selected games will be live streamed on our INSTAGRAM feed. Selected matches will be displayed in our news feeds at the new Florida Netball Classic site (Click HERE for more info). If you have not yet followed us on INSTAGRAM (Click HERE to keep up with all the action)

The 2023 edition promises to bring an abundance of excitement with teams eager to travel again in the post pandemic era. Participation offers opportunities to experience an event with great diversity, exposure to cultural exchanges and a netball experience like no other. The tournament has steadily gained the reputation as the "can't miss" premier junior netball tournament for the top youth teams in the Americas. 

All island champions at under 16 and 19 levels from Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Barbados and Trinidad are regularly represented in our line up each year. We welcome all teams from around the world as we look to expand our netball family and provide great exposure to our aspiring local athletes here in the United States, Our new section "Where are they now" highlights some of our past participants who have graced our Florida courts, so be sure to scroll down to view our alumni and what they are up to now!!!

We are continuing to advise our patrons to take the necessary precautionary measures to avoid contraction of the COVID virus while traveling or in quarantine. By adhering to the suggestions provided by the Florida Department of Health website, the risk of exposure can be minimized.

Applying for visas to enter the United States can be a daunting process filled with emotional ups and downs especially in the post pandemic era. US embassies globally have been inundated with request and as such are currently unable to meet the demands in a timely fashion. For our teams that are in need of visas to enter the USA, we offer the following protocol to assist with your navigation:

1. After receiving your letter of invitation (LOI), instruct your agent to book the 1st available group date at your local US embassy (Even if the suggested date is after the completion of the tournament).
2. If the group date is after the completion of the tournament. You will then need to contact your local Ministry of Sport to request assistance with getting your dates moved up to an appropriate time. Please include the name of your team, dates of appointment and the names of the athletes who will be looking to attain visas in all correspondence.
3. Whilst that process is on going, also ask your agent to look for individual appointment dates for your team members as they may be easier to obtain when compared to group bookings
4. Consequently, follow the attached LINK, sign into your US embassy account and complete the "Request Expedite" tab where you can enter a reason for requesting an earlier appointment date.

After much deliberation, it is with great pleasure that we announce our newest collaboration with the City of Miramar to become the future home of the Florida Netball Classic tournament series utilizing the Miramar Regional Park Amphitheater located at 16801 Miramar Pkwy, Miramar, FL 33027. 

Typically used as a concert venue, the 25,000 square footage space under tent will allow us to comfortably fit three (3) netball courts under its massive canopy with the possibility of a 4th outdoor court in the backstage area. The canopy will provide cover for any inclement weather conditions and allow us to create our long lasting dream of providing a carnival like experience for our patrons with extra-curricular activities for all players and guest. We look forward to welcoming you to our newest addition.

Interested in participating, but don't know where to start, let 4 Tors customize a package for you and your team. Florida has an abundance of world class excursions to choose, ranging from the Theme parks of Orlando (Disney / Universal Studios) to the pristine beaches and cafes of Ocean Drive, South Beach. When the Denbigh High School Under 16 netball team took the courts at the 10th edition of the Junior Florida Netball Classic before the pandemic, Spearheading the defence was a young, vibrant, athletic goal keeper who seemed destined for greatness. 

Now a member of the world's 4th ranked Jamaica National netball team player pool,

preparing for the 2023 World Cup in South Africa.  Teenager Roxanna McLean is honored to represent Jamaica at the senior level, but the 19-year-old is not satisfied and is aiming at being a mainstay in the Sunshine Girls. “"It was a very great feeling and an exciting experience especially being the youngest player on the squad, I felt very much honored. It is very challenging, but with my hard work, dedication and of course, having faith in God, my success was inevitable," She said upon her 1^st senior call up to the recently completed Vitality Netball Series vs England in January 2023.

Having represented the Sunshine Girls at the under 16 and 23 levels, her progression to the full national team was only a matter of time. She further represented her country in the 2022 FAST5 tournament in New Zealand and was recently a dominant force in the just concluded Americas Netball World Cup Qualifiers where Jamaica went undefeated and booked their place for South Africa 2023.

Ambitious on the court as she is off it, Roxanna is also making her diligent

preparations for life after netball. She is still currently enrolled at Denbigh High School in. upper 6^th form where she is preparing for the next steps in what should be a wonderful career both on and off the courts.

The Florida Netball Classic organization is absolutely thrilled that a player of this caliber has graced our courts and we hope to highlight the many other success stories of our alumni in their life accomplishments moving forward. We wish you every success Roxanna and hope to see you showcasing your talents in the 2023 World Cup later this year in South Africa! You make us proud!
