Cybersecurity for Everyone!

June 3 @ 11:00 am


In this presentation, you will hear from an Information Technology expert who has worked on the front lines of defending multiple organizations from cyber threats for over twenty-five years.

Over the course of the presentation, you’ll learn how Cybercriminals think, what they say to con you, and how to defeat their tactics. By the end, you’ll learn five tips to stay one step ahead of the bad guys -- and maybe a bonus or two.

Writers' Group

June 5, 12 & 26 @ 6:30 pm - 7:45 pm


Join us for a writing workshop! Expand your knowledge on writing; critique each other’s work; and get advice on the craft. New and long-time writers are welcome! This will be an ongoing program. The Writers’ Group will be meeting in the Special Collections room of TPL. Meetings will last from 6:30 pm to 7:45 pm.

Children's Book Writers' Group

If you’re interested in crafting and publishing children’s books and stories, join us to participate with a group of likeminded individuals to discuss, critique, and broaden your children’s literature knowledge. All skill levels are welcome and encouraged to join.

Saturday Knitting & Crochet Group

June 10 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm


The Saturday Knitting & Crochet Group meets on the second Saturday of each month from 10:30 am – noon near the circulation desk at Tyngsborough Public Library. Open to all knitting and crocheting levels. Get together with friends and make some new ones! The group will not be meeting in July and August.

Watercolor Painting Class

June 24 @ 11:00 am


Artist and art teacher Brooke Lambert is back by popular demand to teach another great watercolor painting class at Tyngsborough Public Library! Paint a still life of your own -- all materials will be provided. Explore the art of watercolor painting in this class. All skill levels are welcome.

Space is limited so register in advance. Tyngsborough residents will have first admission; residents of other towns will be on a waitlist until June 12th, and will be admitted as space allows. 

The class is 10+; anyone under 18 should attend with a parent or guardian who is also registered to take the class.

YOUNG ADULT

College Essay Writing Workshop

June 27, 28 & 29 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm


It is never too early to think about college. In fact, now is the best time to do it. Write the perfect essay and have it out of your mind before summer really begins. This workshop is perfect for students who just wrapped up their junior year. 

Join us for a three-day writing workshop to slay the essay. You must attend all three days: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 11 - 12:30 p.m.

Space is extremely limited. Please cancel your registration if you cannot attend so that another may take your place. 

Bring your laptop or a notebook and pen.

About the instructor: Lisa Desberg has 20 years of public education experience teaching senior English. She has helped hundreds of students navigate the college essay writing process with excitement & ease. They have been accepted to schools of their choice like Colgate, University of Florida, Boston University, Quinnipiac, Fairfield, Lehigh, and more.
