Summer is officially upon us! And with that reality, there are a number of seasonal activities that are now available each week. To learn more about specific offerings and events, sign up to receive This Week in Montreat, our weekly summer publication, directly in your inbox.

Looking for a broad overview of summer offerings? We have that, too! This Summer in Montreat is a resource that provides information on all of the various Montreat happenings over the course of the entire summer. You can read it online here.

Join us each Sunday morning through August 4 as we worship God together during our Summer Worship Series. All services will take place in Anderson Auditorium beginning at 10:30 am. Find a full list of guest preachers on our website.

The Art of Transitional Ministry provides specialized training for pastors and their spouses alike as they minister to churches navigating transition. See how you can participate in-person or online by clicking here.

Is it Just Me? Or is Parenting Harder Now? Whether due to the pandemic, evolving technology, or just cultural changes in general, the challenges that parents of children and teens face today seem more complicated than ever. So what can we do about those challenges? Join us for a series of free mini-workshops covering the "hot topics" that parents are facing today. Learn more.

Arts, Music, and Theology (AMT) is a free lecture series held in Montreat each summer. Built on the premise that Montreat is full of interesting people, each week a different speaker will share their knowledge of various topics relating to either the arts, music, theology, or all three. Mark your calendars for our first event on July 2! Explore lecture details here.

Fewer than 100 spaces remain for those wishing to attend this year's Women's Connection as full conference participants. However, if you would only like to attend Becca Stevens' keynote on Saturday, August 10, we will have one-night-only tickets available later this summer for An Evening with Becca Stevens. Visit our website to sign up for email alerts.

This fall, we will host the third of a three-part series of retreats led by author John Philip Newell. During Earth & Soul: Sacred Earth Sacred Soul, participants will focus on reawakening to the sacredness of the human imagination and prophetic vision through the teachings of Alexander John Scott, George MacLeod, and Kenneth White. Learn more.

Make a visit to Moore Center! The Huckleberry is now following its summer schedule and will be open Mon.-Fri. 8:00 am-9:00 pm, Sat. 8:00 am-3:00 pm, and closed Sunday. View the menu here. Meanwhile, The Montreat Store is open Mon.-Sat. 10:00 am-5:00 pm. Have a question about purchasing an item? Call the store at 828.669.5298.

Montreat Moment

On May 26, we welcomed over 100 Summer Staff to the valley. We are so grateful that this group of young adults gets to spend the next ten weeks serving the Montreat community with us!

Thank you Church Patrons!

Last year, 101 churches from 20 different states financially supported Montreat's mission and ministry with gifts of $300 or more. Their support makes the Montreat experience possible, enriching congregational life and ministry. We are deeply grateful for every one of them.

To learn more about the program and for the list of Church Patrons, visit montreat.org/church-patrons.

Your church's name not on the list? Contact Julie Lehman, Director of the Montreat Fund and Major Gifts to start the process of becoming a Church Patron today.

Keep up with Montreat!
