June 2024

LaGrange Association Library

1110 Route 55, LaGrangeville

A Note from the Director

Mary De Bellis

Welcome Summer!

You will see some new faces at the Library as the busy summer season approaches. Please welcome part-time staff members Anna Eltigani, Samantha Moffett, and Kyoko Namba. Anna and Kyoko are our new Clerks/Passport Agents and Samantha is our new Youth Programmer. You can find them at the checkout desk and in the Children's Room, so please make sure to say hello!

I'm delighted to announce that the furniture and shelving for the new Children's Room will be installed June 19th-21st. That area will be closed to the public for those three days. We will then be gradually moving the balance of the children's books out of storage and onto those shelves for browsing and accessibility by all. That will be a work in progress, so please bear with us!

As always, your patience and support is appreciated as the Library improves its services to the youth and families of LaGrange.

Look for us on LaGrange Community Day at Freedom Park on Saturday, June 8th. The Library's ever-popular table will have kids crafts, information about great Library services, book bundles available for a donation of your choice, and a basket raffle!

Thank you and have a wonderful summer!

Stop by the Library or visit us at Community Day at

Freedom Park on June 8th to purchase tickets for our

beautiful summer raffle basket.
