This year's Student Art & Poetry Anthology includes the work of 71 students from 17 Santa Fe Public School classes. All work was created during online ArtWorks workshops over this strangely unique year.
This means teachers took screenshots of student artwork, poetry readings were live but virtual, and teaching artists adroitly instructed students through their screens.
Each year's Anthology is special, but this year's is especially remarkable for what teachers, students, and teaching artists were able to not only accomplish, but also how they embodied the grit and determination during what was in many instances a heartbreaking year.
Congratulations teachers, students, and teaching artists, and here's to looking forward to the changes next year will bring. We salute you.

The deadline to submit a Teacher Grant Application for 2021-22 is Friday, June 4th at
4 p.m.
Any school professional who works directly with students, including principals, librarians, counselors, and nurses, in the Santa Fe Public Schools and publicly funded charter schools may apply. Up to $1,000 is available per awardee.

The Teacher Warehouse is a resource for teachers to “shop” for free and take great things back to their classrooms. Local businesses and individuals donate office supplies, art supplies, books, and more.

ArtWorks is an aesthetic education program that builds critical thinking skills and frees young imaginations. ArtWorks makes the arts personally meaningful to over 1,800 public school students and teachers through an integrated program of art-making, viewing live performances and exhibits, and achieving understanding through inquiry and reflection.

Through the generosity of donors like you, classroom teachers receive grants for innovative, curriculum-based projects. Partners in Education awards over $50,000 to about 60 teachers each year.
Partners in Education also honors up to seven Santa Fe Public School teachers each year with the Teachers Who Inspire awards.
