INVESTMENT
From the Desk of Bruce Bossow
Since 2008, we at Premier have been promoting our Select Vendor Program to raise money for the local food pantries. Several businesses that provide essential services related to commercial real estate have graciously donated $200 a year to be a part of that elite group.

Their consistent donations over the years have resulted in over $25,000 going to the local food panties. This cash goes much further than actual food donations, as $1 can buy $4 worth of food from the food depositories.

If you have a business and would like to participate in our Select Vendor Program, please contact me directly for more information.
We are pleased to announce the addition of new broker Tom Traina.  Tom joined Premier Commercial Realty in 2017 to specialize in working with restaurant owners selling or buying businesses and real estate. Tom has 13 years of business brokerage experience, focused in the restaurant industry. He has owned his own business brokerage company (EatZ & Associates) since 2003 and successfully closed over 275 deals since 2010. Tom attributes his success to being able to relate to both the buyer and seller, having bought and sold several restaurants personally.
Warmest Regards,

Retail Retreat & What Local Towns  Should Do About It
By Bruce Kaplan

We have noticed the commercial real estate trade publications reporting trouble in the retail sector of our business.  A June 5, 2017 Crains article talked about "dark clouds blowing into the local shopping center market."

The Death of Retail?
By:  John McNellis

Some genius has said last rites over retail's empty storefront every day this year, causing even its faithful to wonder if they are fiddling in the Titanic's quartet. Is retail really dead? Will we all be mainlining nothing but Amazon by 2022? Having been in retail development for thirty-five years, I can tell you 2017 has yet to be pretty.
