Community Pride Scholarship Winners Announced

Each year, City of Rancho Cordova employees raise funds for the city’s Community Pride Scholarship program to support graduating seniors in our community.

Celebrate Juneteenth with Local Festival

The Folsom Cordova Community Partnership is hosting a special Juneteenth celebration at Hagan Community Park on June 17, 3 PM – 7 PM. The festival will feature a Black-owned marketplace, live music and food, and a kids' zone. Learn more 

City to Celebrate Fourth of July with Festival, Parade and Fireworks

Rancho Cordova's Fourth of July celebration features a two-day lineup of events commemorating the local community and our American heritage. $5 tickets are now available online.

Summer at City Hall Program Accepting Applications

Rancho Cordova youth can learn about local government, connect with local leaders and work on professional development through the city's Summer at City Hall program. Students aged 13 to 18 are eligible. Learn more

Chrysanthy Boulevard Expansion Project

This project will add more than eight lane miles of new road on Chrysanthy Boulevard from Rancho Cordova Parkway to Grant Line Road, a corridor expected to serve over 3,000 new homes in the area. Pedestrian and bicycle connections will be added, with access to a new community park and regional town center. It will also establish a key connection to Grant Line Road, reducing traffic from Douglas Road. The project began in 2021 and is expected to be completed this fall. Learn more

Mills Crossing Project Update

This planned urban hub in the heart of our community will provide a center for arts, health and wellness, cultural and community spaces, and housing and retail options. If you live within 4,000 feet of the project, you'll be notified about the Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) to provide feedback. Chase Drive and American River Parkway Connection

A multi-use path will be added to Chase Drive from Coloma Road to the American River Parkway. Planned improvements include a separated pathway with new lighting, ADA-compliant curb ramps, high-visibility crosswalks, trees, landscaping and more. The project is funded by a grant and expected to start this summer. Learn more

Branching Out: A Tree Care Workshop

Learn from arborists and master gardeners at this free workshop Saturday, June 29 at Soil Born Farms. Topics include proper pruning and watering, and all participants take home a free tree. Learn more

Cordova High Softball Team Wins 5th League Championship Title

Rancho Cordova Arts is hosting an online art auction from June 3–8. All art is donated by local artists and proceeds will benefit Rancho Cordova art students. Learn more
