MPI NEW JERSEY PULSE CHECK
Well WOW What a year it has been! Can you believe that white pants and flip flops are back? This team of MPI New Jersey has certainly elevated its level of attention to members, committee volunteers and the Board. Sitting in the Office of the President, we can tell you all we are focused on is you! Thank you for your support and contribution to the chapter. We are certainly looking forward to the rest of the year with this amazing team of people.
Since the MPI redesigned chapter structure was announced in June of last year we are still in the middle of an extended term. We will revert to a calendar year starting in January 2025, but this 18-month term has given us abundant opportunities to rise and elevate and hopefully we did not disappoint. The past year has many highlights to celebrate. In June of 2023 the chapter was awarded our first RISE Award for the MEETS Conference! This conference that was first held live in 2022 has continued to grow to become a calendar essential for industry professionals in the tri-state area. Our 2024 event, held in March in Atlantic City, was bigger and better and we anticipate that growth to continue thanks to the enthusiastic support of you, our chapter members, and our dedicated volunteers.
The MPI New Jersey CMP/CMM Event has come back strong as a live event in 2022 and 2023 and we look forward to the next event in the fall honoring our colleagues who have attained these important designations. Keep an eye on our website for details and make plans to join us.
We are all anxiously anticipating next week’s 26th Annual MPI New Jersey Golf Event scheduled for Tuesday, June 25 at the Crystal Springs Resort in Hamburg, New Jersey. This day is always a great opportunity to connect with colleagues and friends and meet new ones. What started as an annual event for golfers only has grown to include a golf clinic, wine tasting and a closing reception with great food, drink and an abundance of raffle prizes. And… we have it on good authority that, if your schedule permits, it’s not too late to join us for this fun-filled day! Suffice it to say we have had a busy year, and, in some ways, it feels like we are just getting started. Over the next year you will hear more from us about the newly formed MPI Regions and the positive impact our participation with other local chapters will have for you. As we continue our shared journey we want to hear from you, our loyal members.
