Happy Father's Day!

When I was a little girl, celebrating Father’s Day often meant going to Redondo Beach and eating fresh seafood on the pier. As we got older, the men in our family would grill BBQ in the backyard, while the rest of us would set the table and make the sides. My earthly father has since passed, and I am reminded every year on Father’s Day that we have another Father. Our Heavenly Father, who loves us and is consistently the same in who He is to us. What is a Scriptorium?

Lead pastor, Stephen Orman of Warner Avenue Baptist Church in Huntington Beach invites you to his church for a night of memorizing scripture. The church air will be filled with songs of hymns and verses from the book of Peter. What a beautiful night we can expect to experience in this intimate setting of fellowship. Recap of May

From the moment we stepped onto the warm California sand of Huntington Beach, the presence of the Holy Spirit was so tangible. Truly a glimpse of heaven on earth. As worship was led by Christian artists, such as Martin Smith and Alexander Pappas, thousands of souls were being immersed in the ocean waters getting baptized. Revival is here and now! Pastor Ben Applebee from Watermark OC received his custom hoodie, from our "No Bunnies Here!" campaign this past Easter and said it was the Best sweater he owned! Thank you for preaching the word with a clear message that Easter is about the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Hallelujah! We love seeing you in the community here in Costa Mesa. A special thank you to the members of Watermark OC, who nominated their lead pastor for this custom-made hoodie by World Class Grace.

On May 2nd we gathered at City Hall for National Day of Prayer. Together with our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, we prayed for our city, state, country, and our leaders. Leading prayer was Kayton Garcia, Prayer Initiative Director for Love Costa Mesa & Trellis OC.

Two weeks later, with over 900 participating neighbors we met with city officials, church leaders, and business owners for Love Costa Mesa Day on May 18th for a full day of projects all around the city. Thanks to Reina Cuthill, Neighboring Initiative Director for Love Costa Mesa, we met fellow faithful servants while we gave out Bibles, and Christian resources and read scripture to one another.
