Greetings NTMCA Members!
So, for many of us, Election Season is behind us and now it’s the Budgeting Season. As you consider your budget (whether you prepare it or provide input), we as a Board wanted to remind everyone that one of the biggest benefits of joining NTMCA is the networking benefit. Networking strengthens your business relationships, provides you with different perspectives and ideas, helps you make connections, gives you an opportunity to help others, provides you with motivation when needed, inspires you to greater accomplishments, and even provides friendships. So, all that said, I hope joining NTMCA is included in your budget next year. We have a great group of members, which I’ve enjoyed getting to know more each month.

June Meeting
Please plan to join us at the annual NTMCA Awards Luncheon on June 21
st
in North Richland Hills at the
Grand Hall at NRH Centre.
Clerk of the Year awards will be announced, Alyce Deering scholarships will be awarded and NTMCA volunteers will be recognized. I hope you’ll attend and show you’re support; it’ll be a big celebration. The deadline to register is quickly approaching, however, you still have time to register.

July Meeting
As for July, our meeting will be in Decatur on July 19
th
. Tim Marvel is scheduled to speak and help us better understand how we might manage our time more efficiently.
Please join us as we host TMCA President Marie Balthrop (Wichita Falls).
FY 2018-2019 Budget
Last month the NTMCA Board met and worked on the Fiscal Year 2018-2019 Budget. This month the Budget committee will review it and make suggestions. The proposed budget will be presented to the membership at the August meeting. If you have any thoughts or concerns, please email any one of us on the Board. We value your input.

- TMCA Records Management Seminar Social is scheduled for Thursday, August 9th

Board Officer Applications Wanted!
The 2018 Nominating Committee is seeking
applications
for individuals wishing to serve on the NTMCA Board. Board Member positions include the offices of President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Historian.
Board Members must be willing to commit to attend the ten monthly Chapter meetings throughout the year. Board Members also meet after regular Chapter meetings, as well as attend 2-3 all day retreats, as scheduled by the Board President. Board Members typically dedicate two to five hours per week of their time to NTMCA duties.

for detailed descriptions of duties and commitments. Please take the time to give back to our organization through service on the board.
