Lee County Community Appearance Index
We are calling on the community to join forces in our annual Community Appearance Index (Litter Index).The results provide metrics that help determine the impact of litter on the quality of life in the community. They also help set goals and develop effective community improvement education programs and projects. Click here to participate.
Site Captain Survey
As we plan our signature community-wide cleanup events, we are seeking new site captains and updating contact information. Site captains are responsible for running a cleanup location and are an integral part of our events. Click here to complete a quick survey.
International Coastal Cleanup Sponsorship

5th of July Beach Cleanup

Become a Volunteer Ambassador
Become a Keep Lee County Beautiful Ambassador and help spread our mission of protecting the environment. The next informational sessions are June 12th and July 17th at 11:30am and June 17th and July 22nd at 6pm. Email Jenn@klcb.org with any questions and to RSVP.
Hazardous Waste Collection Events
Lee County Solid Waste will be holding Household Chemical Waste collection events on the following dates:

June 5th: 9am-1pm-Sanibel Library

Fort Myers Beach Community Foundation
We are honored to express our deepest gratitude to the Fort Myers Beach Community Foundation for their unwavering support! Their generosity and commitment have made a significant impact on our cause, and we are incredibly grateful for their partnership.
Lee County Wellness Fair
Our KLCB Ambassadors Allen and Chery recently participated in the Lee County Wellness Fair for county employees. They shared our mission and ways to get involved in our community improvement programs.

Funds Raised for School Projects
KLCB donates our "Leave The Scene Clean" tote bags to schools to be used as a fundraising tool. Schools across the county utilized proceeds to support their STEM lessons, environmental art projects, Eco Clubs, campus cleanups, and field trips. Keep Lee County Beautiful, Inc., established in 1989, is the county’s largest volunteer-based community action and education organization. This local nonprofit forms public-private partnerships and programs that engage individuals to take greater responsibility for improving their community environments.
