JUNE upcoming events!
Begins JUNE 4
10 am worship

Our favorite summer worship series is back! Beginning June 4, and running all summer, worship will feature a song from a Broadway musical, performed by local artists. We're calling it the "Gospel from Broadway" and it  will guide the theme of worship that day. You'll have to join us to hear the scripture connections!

The series kicks off on Sunday, June 4 with "He Lives in You" from The Lion King.  Follow us on Facebook for updates on when your favorite songs from your favorite shows will be featured in worship.

We are preparing to bring McFarland residents together every week to hear great music, enjoy ice cream in a family atmosphere, and make an impact on our community. 

 
100% of the proceeds are donated! Our long-standing commitment is that half of the funds go to the McFarland Food Pantry to make an impact on hunger in our community. 

This year, we are inviting community organizations to serve, with guidance from experienced McFarland UCC folks as our team leads.   The organization working that night will determine who will receive the other half of the proceeds from that evening's event.  Have an organization in mind?  Call Melissa at 838-9322 for more information.

Sundaes on Thursdays is one of our primary community outreach activities.  If you are closely connected  to McFarland UCC and are will to be a team leader or shepherd email Melissa at the church office@mcfarlanducc.org for ways you can serve.
General Synod
June 30 - July 4

"Every two years, General Synod brings together thousands of faithful members of the United Church of Christ for formal church witness, inspirational worship,and fellowship... "

Pastor Kerri, MUCC Covenant Partner  Maddie Loss, and other representatives from Wisconsin will be traveling to Baltimore in late June as part of the national gathering of the UCC.  There will be celebration, debate, worship and witness, and time to learn! Please hold this important gathering in prayer from June 30-July 4.  Much of Synod will be live-streamed. Follow happenings on the web at ucc.org/synod and on twitter at #UCCGS .

Railroad Road Trip - August 6

Sunday, August 6 after worship, we will carpool to the East Troy Railroad Museum for a fabulous chartered train trip on a restored historic rail car!  The train leaves the station at 1:03 pm and will be out about 2 hours.  All ages are welcome and it's FREE!  The train charter has been graciously set up for MUCC by a local McFarland resident and out trip is in honor and loving memory of Larry Dosch.

Please signup on the bulletin board at the church or CLICK HERE to signup online.  We need to let the railroad know how many people plan to take the trip.
