Happy June IH Owners!

As the official arrival of summer approaches, we here at IH Parts America are delighted to announce our active participation in a series of prominent International Harvester events. Imminent among these is the highly anticipated 32nd IH Scout and Light Truck Nationals, scheduled to take place at the Navistar Truck Plant in Springfield, OH on June 9th-11th. We take immense pride in being a platinum sponsor of this event, and we are pleased to inform you that our esteemed representatives, namely Michael, Jeff, Norma, and Zaed, will be diligently operating our Binder Books and IH Parts America booth. During the show, we will proudly showcase "FC520," our 1961 Scout 80 that is the earliest unrestored Scout 80 currently known to exist that still runs and drives, offering a unique glimpse into its remarkable history. Furthermore, esteemed individuals Jeff Ismail and Jim Allen will be hosting an insightful seminar on Saturday of the event, shedding light on FC520 and its captivating narrative. We warmly encourage you to visit our booth and extend your greetings and look at all the new CPT products we have to offer.

Later in July, we eagerly anticipate our attendance at the prestigious Rocky Mountain IH Rendezvous. As customary, we shall enthusiastically partake in the local wheeling activities. Mark your calendars for the Rocky Mountain IH Rendezvous, scheduled to take place from July 21st to 23rd.

Looking ahead, we are excited to announce our presence at the 5th Annual Harvester Homecoming on August 4th and 5th. Joining us at this momentous occasion, situated at the birthplace of the Scout, will be Jeff, Mike, Zaed, and Norma, who will proudly showcase a selection of our exceptional products.

If you follow our social media pages, then you’ve most likely noticed us posting about used parts available for sale. Recently we closed the deal on several estates loaded with IH parts and vehicles. We are still dragging in trailer loads of both so if you need any used IH parts feel free to contact our parts department at 530-274-1795 or email them directly at sales@ihpartsamerica.com.

Our inventory changes all the time, and therefore we do not keep many used parts listed on our online store so you will need to contact us with your inquiry. We are happy to provide photos upon request.

At our company, we continually endeavor to enhance and broaden our range of parts catering to the IH community. The guys in the shop have been diligently working on a multitude of new CPT parts offerings that will soon be introduced. New Shirts and Hoodies

Fresh off the press are two new shirt designs now available for purchase. Starting with our basic IH Parts America shirt, it comes in white and sports our aged IH Parts America logo front and back as well as the Binder Books and CPT logo on the back. If you like Project Hideous, our 1952 L-110 Trout, you’ll like our new Trail Tractor shirt depicting this awesome truck. Comes in a heather gray color. Both designs are also available as hoodies and come in sizes from Small to 3XL.

Head Stud Kits

We now offer full ARP head stud kits for the 152, 196, 304, 345 or 392 engine. These are great for adding some extra strength to your head gasket sealing if you are pushing the limits. Some engines require cleaning up of the threads all the way to the bottom. Make sure to check your engine block, and properly clean the threads if you plan on installing these. Hideous, our L110 rock crawler equipped with a 392 engine, has had studs installed since it was built. We have pushed that engine to its limits, with the head gasket still holding strong! 

Mirrors

We are adding lots of variety of mirrors to our online store. We have convex styles of the stock Scout II mirror, matte black mirrors and standard OEM styles now. Our webstore team is working hard to get these added to our store as soon as possible. If you have any questions regarding mirrors for your Scout, Pickup or Travelall - feel free to contact us with any questions.

IH Parts America is pleased to announce we are now RetroSound dealer! RetroSound has been around for a long while now producing top of the line modern radios that still have that retro look. We now offer aftermarket radio packages that look and fit just like the OEM for the Scout 800 and Scout II as well as 1969-75 D Series pickup or Travelall. Through the years we have installed many of these units in our own vehicles and shop builds and can now offer the same products to you! We should have several Retrosound items ready for purchase in mid-June so check back to our online store often as new items are being added daily.
