Ally Capital buys the Urban Centre

Tampa real estate investor Andrew Wright's Ally Capital Group has acquired the Urban Centre, an office complex in the heart of Westshore. Wright told the Tampa Bay Business Journal he was purchasing the two-tower complex and attached parking garage for $123 million. The sale does not include the Westshore Grand, located between the two towers. The buildings are 88% occupied, Wright said. MORE

Florida Bike Month 🚲

May was Florida Bike Month, and the Westshore Alliance partnered with local nonprofit Walk Bike Tampa for a Bike Month Celebration at Coppertail Brewery in Ybor City! Executive Director Michael Maurino joined in on the fun to talk about the progress that have been made on bicycle access in Westshore and the important work of advocates citywide to make Tampa a safer place for all road users.
