How to Use the SGP Impact Tracker's Engagement Display to Benefit Your Business
|
|
The Engagement Display is a special feature to the SGP Impact Tracker. It is the hub of your sustainability achievements, displayed as fast facts, making your successes relatable, and easy to understand. Yes, there are even emojis that make displaying your achievements fun!
Nadine Seitz, Yunker Industries' Marketing Manager, has recently incorporated the Engagement Display into her marketing strategies. For her, it has been an easy way to share Yunker's sustainable initiatives because it is customizable and is one central location to share their information from energy saved to different volunteer projects that their staff participates in.
The following points dives deeper into how Nadine and her marketing team uses the SGP Impact Tracker's Engagement Display:
|
|
· For request for information responses, client presentations, and vendor/supplier visits to show a quick snapshot of the impact our sustainable efforts are making.
·The infographics are perfect for when you want to share your sustainability story on social media. For example, when we are talking about water savings, it shows that we saved as much water as 6 in ground pools. The visual representation is extremely helpful.
·Social sharing! The Engagement Display gives me the opportunity to do this with ease when posting to our social sites, allowing us to have a link to share just the Engagement Display.
·It’s a great way to share our initiatives. Again, I found this useful and easy when sharing to social media and sharing our recycling efforts and community involvement.

"As the Marketing Manager, I am always looking for something fun and interesting to share and now I can do that with the Engagement Display. What a great snapshot to share with clients, vendors, stakeholders and our employees. Like everything else though the results are only as good as the information you enter. It is a great addition to the SGP Impact Tracker." - Nadine Seitz

SGP Supplier Certification Update
|
Jodi Sawyer, SGP's Immediate Past Chair, shared with us how the updated task force is coming along.
“Exciting progress is being made by the SGP Supplier Certification Task Force! Under the direction of the SGP Technical Committee and the Board of Directors, the task force is comprised of stakeholders in the SGP community including: patrons, resource partners, and certified printers. The team meets biweekly to walk through each section of the current SGP Printer Certification and propose updates and changes that would be appropriate for supplier criteria. To date, the task force has reviewed up to the Best Practices section 4.13.7 sections. The next steps in the process will be to present the draft criteria to a larger stakeholder group for feedback. We will then present the draft of the criteria to the Board of Directors in November 2019."
Your engagement and feedback is important to the process. If you’re interested in learning more about the development of the Supplier Certification program, please contact us at:
