Volunteers for Committees: Catalyst for Prosperity Priority List Summary
There will be three committees each committee will focus on one of the following areas:
- The creation of a community wide, cohesive marketing plan and style guide recognizing the various audiences including but not limited to tourist, new residents and retirees, and investors of all size.
- The creation of simplified and centralized business creation and retention process including but not limited to the creation of a road map to starting a business, a concierge service for new investors, and business friendly, customer service focused initiative.
- The exploration and development of our railroad, river walk, and trail systems as a tourist, transportation, and quality of life investment.

Stuff the Bus School Supply Drive
Help provide Gilmer County Students the school supplies they need! Look for the Optimist Club's big yellow bus around Ellijay and drop off your donations to help local kids have the supplies they need before school starts again in August.
5K Trail Run to benefit Homeward Bound Pet Rescue, Inc. Gilmer County's Only No Kill, all Volunteer, Non-Profit Animal Shelter.
