Pride Month is almost here! The Conservancy would like to develop our understanding of the sites and buildings that help tell the stories of Santa Monica’s LGBTQ+ communities. We invite anyone interested in participating in this conversation to reach out by clicking HERE. Curious about the history of Pride? Click HERE to read more about how decades of LGBTQ+ activism and the events of the Stonewall Uprising led to today’s Pride traditions.
We are also seeking volunteers to help tell the stories of Ocean Park! Sign up today and train as a Shotgun House docent, support our seasonal garden tours and evening open house events, and/or learn to host guided walks along Main Street and the Third Street Historic District. No experience is necessary, just click HERE to contact us about becoming a volunteer.
