HB19-1320 Hospital Community Benefit Accountability requires certain hospitals to convene a public meeting at least once each year to seek feedback regarding the hospital's community benefit activities and report back to the Department on community benefits, costs, and shortfalls from the preceding year.

The Department has been working with Myers and Stauffer to create an online reporting tool that will make it easier to submit your data to us and streamline the process. The report template will be moving from a Word template to an Excel survey. Reporting hospitals will submit this Excel survey and any accompanying documents into the Hospital Information Systems (HIS) Data Portal. For this year's submission we will have a reporting window that opens July 1 and closes on Aug. 31. 

Myers and Stauffer will reach out to the contacts we have on file to set up accounts for this portal. If there has been a change to the contact person for this program, or you want to add individuals, please send that information to hcpf_hospitalcommunity@state.co.us. Myers and Stauffer will also be using this list to send out the Excel survey and user guide for the HIS Data Portal.
