Join us on Sat., June 15, as three guitarists come together to share their talents at "Meeting of the Music," a celebration of our new guitar exhibit!
Dinorah Klingler - whom you may recognize from our annual Día de Muertos Fiesta - is an award-winning singer, songwriter, musician and producer who has performed for audiences across Mexico and the U.S. Dinorah's repertoire spans many genres and languages, and in Sacramento, she is best known as the founder of Mariachi Bonitas, the city's first all-female mariachi band.
Michael Sallstrom is an expert in crosspicking, a guitar style that uses a flatpick to imitate the sound of fingerpicking. Inspired by the legendary California artist Clarence White, as well as Doc Watson, Michael performs folk, ballads and a little bluegrass!
Ian Santillano is a Fil-Am singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer from Hayward, CA. An alternative/indie artist who draws upon his foundations in jazz, soul, folk, rock and funk, Ian is known for his commanding guitar solos and soulful vocals that unveil his deepest emotions.
