2024 Kansas Wage Survey Files
The Occupational Employment & Wage Statistics (OEWS) program provides annual employment and wage estimates by occupation. Data is collected from Kansas employers through a semi-annual survey conducted by the Kansas Department of Labor (KDOL) in partnership with the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). The BLS calculates employment and wage estimates for each of the states, Metropolitan Statistical Areas, and Balance-of-State areas within each state. To better meet the needs of local users, KDOL’s Labor Market Information Services (LMIS) division produces employment and wage estimates for geographic areas not produced by the BLS; these include Local Workforce Investment Areas, projection regions, and counties.
Our short video tutorials will help you get the most value out of our LMI resources by showing you how to navigate dashboards and locate the data you need for your area and use case. Stay tuned for more to come later this year. If there are any topics in particular that you want to see, don't hesitate to let us know - just email KDOL.Laborstats@ks.gov.
