Now Accepting 2025 Scholarship Applications


Applications are now open for the 2025 California 4-H Higher Education Scholarships. If you are–or were– a California 4-H member when you received your high school diploma, you may qualify to apply for 4-H Higher Education scholarships to continue your education at accredited vocational schools, colleges, or universities. 


Scholarship awards will be distributed in early 2025. Learn about application requirements on the Scholarships page on the Resource Center. Applications are due September 9, 2024.

Beekeeping Essay State Winner


Congratulations, Raina Gonzalez, State Winner, American Beekeeping Federation 4-H Essay Contest!


Ten essays were submitted—an 800% increase over recent years. We hope this is an indication that there is an interest in helping the pollinators! The evaluators determined that Raina’s essay was the most comprehensive and well-cited. Read the winning essay.

4-H Enrollment System Rollover


This is a reminder that families and volunteers will no longer be able to self-enroll in ZSuite on June 21st at 12pm. We anticipate family and volunteers regaining the ability to self-enroll by July 18th.


Families are encouraged to delay re-enrollment for the 2024-2025 program year until the system is open for self-enrollment after July 18, 2024.


If enrollment or re-enrollment is necessary during the interim period the systems are offline, your county staff will work with you to complete the enrollment process.


Please note

Any early enrollments into ZSuite before the official opening of the will be deleted. All dates listed are subject to change based on our vendor and UC ANR 4-H needs. Any changes will be broadly communicated by the State 4-H Office.
