Director of Music Ministry Celebration & Transition

Sunday, July 21 | 12 - 2 PM | Linder Lounge & Sanctuary

We're saddened by the impending departure of Dr. Jaebon Hwang. She has been such a gift to all of us and we know you’ll want to thank her. We, as a church, want to thank her!

To that end, we'll be celebrating her ministry on July 21, with a reception in Linder Lounge and Patio, followed by a short program in the Sanctuary. If you'd like to thank Jaebon with a gift, the most helpful gift would be cash or a gift card included in a personal card that can be given directly to Jaebon, as she's moving into a new community, in a new house, and will have many new expenses in getting settled. Help us celebrated the gift of God that is Dr. Jaebon Hwang!

The search for a new person to fill the role of Director of Music Ministries and Principal Organist is already in process, posting the job nationwide and forming a search committee comprised of choirs and congregation members. We hope that we'll find a replacement swiftly, but our priority is to find the right person to maintain and further enhance our music ministries. We are grateful that Glenn Ward and Steve Townsend will serve and interim organist in the meantime.
