Add your voice to help protect the free speech of students and teachers, and to protect female students in locker rooms, bathrooms, and athletic competitions.

What Title IX Changes Will Do

  • Males who identify as female will have access to facilities designated as female-only spaces such as bathrooms, changing rooms, locker rooms, showers, and sleeping accommodations, and to participate in women's sports and organizations.


  • Female athletes will be denied opportunities to join sports teams, win titles, and obtain athletic scholarships to compete and study at the collegiate level.


  • Students and teachers will be forced to submit to compelled speech requirements and lose free speech protections.

The required online preregistration runs from June 13 to noon on June 17. Please sign up early because the number of speaking slots is limited. You will have between 1 and 3 minutes to speak depending on the number of speakers.

After the district receives your email request to speak, you will receive a confirmation email which you should bring to the meeting.

Each of the 12 districts in Williamson County has one school board member. You can identify your district number using this LINK and entering your address. The county commission number is also the school board district number. For example, if you are in County Commission District 1, you are also in School District 1 and your school board member would be Angela Durham.




What to Say to the Board




  • The changes should not be implemented because numerous states, including Tennessee, have filed lawsuits against the Title IX changes.


  • Make the board aware that superintendents of other states are taking action and we should follow their lead. Click the links below to see what other states are doing and send this information to the board.

  • 28 public comments on Title IX changes that opens female athletic teams, bathrooms, locker rooms, and showers to males. Violates free speech rights with mandated speech codes.


  • Superintendent Jason Golden stated he will enforce the Title IX changes in Williamson County Public Schools.


  • 2024 - 2025 Budget - There is a funding deficit so taxes will likely be increased.


  • The new library content policy offers no way for parents and guardians to hold the school system accountable for inappropriate content offered to students.
