Fall Conference News- SAVE THE DATE! Creative Flow September 24 and 25

Join the Creative Flow connecting the Great Lakes Region through creativity, communication, and commUnity. Flow together over Zoom to open your powers of imagination and the life force energy moving through you.

Keynote speaker, Jenny Hahn, will guide us on the pathways to integration of these free-flowing ideas. Musician Kim Char-Meredith will surround us with her beautiful music.

The Conference will be held at 3 confirmed locations and possibly a 4th location around the Great Lakes Region. Confirmed locations at this time are Unity Churches in: Naperville, IL; Columbus, OH; Cedar Rapids, IA, and we are working on a 4th location. This makes the Conference closer and easier for all of you to attend and benefit from the camaraderie and presentations.

Afternoon workshops at each sub-regional site will offer ways to discover and recognize those powers of creativity to enhance your own spiritual path. Discover new exciting class ideas, plan innovative lessons, share successful events in your community, and relax and network together.

Flow back together to reconnect with GLR friends, sharing the many ways new creative ideas will enhance your community in the coming year.

Introducing our 2024-2025 Great Lakes Regional

Officer Team (Regies) 



Our new regies were installed on June 23 and include 

Alex Bornstein from Chapter Des Plaines, IL, 

Joey Short from Chapter Louisville, KY,

and Maddie Chapman from Chapter Grand Rapids, MI. 

These Y.O.U. will be holding the vision for the continued spiritual development of the teens within our region and planning the regional youth retreats. Welcome Alex, Joey and Maddie!

Who: Youth directors, ministers, board members, and others who work with young people.

Purpose: Share best practices and skills around ministering to and with families and discuss pertinent topics like fall planning!

EarchCare's GREEN STAR AWARD!

Good news! For spiritual centers that have not yet applied, the application date for this year's Green Star Award has been extended to July 31, 2024.

The award recognizes Unity congregations that completed at least three significant environmental activities during calendar year 2023 that foster awareness of our spiritual oneness with the Earth and promote active care of the environment. Please relate the activity to the appropriate Step or Action of the Path to EarthCare and include support as applicable.
