In Case You Missed It

We're Looking for Interns!

Laurel House is currently seeking interns to help further us in our mission to end domestic violence in Montgomery County!

We're currently looking for a Domestic Abuse Response Team (DART) Intern, and a Medical Advocacy Program (MAP) Intern! The DART and MAP Interns will work with our community outreach department on ensuring each survivor that calls on us is served.

Safe Haven Center Happenings

From fun festivities to incredibly generous donations and gifts from our community, summertime is in full swing at the Safe Haven Center!

Thank you so much to Ale Villaseñor Hair for recently visiting our shelter and providing free haircuts and styling to residents at our Safe Haven Center!

Alé is a local stylist based out of Warrington and she plans to return monthly to help new residents.

Thank you for providing a service we often take for granted!

Our Safe Haven Center staff and residents recently celebrated the summer with a festive barbecue!

From face painting to snow cones, we enjoyed the opportunity to provide a sense of normalcy and fun during difficult times.

Meanwhile, staff at our administrative offices had the honor of judging the first ever Mission Kids bake-off!

We'd also like to thank Representative Nancy Guenst and her staff for an incredibly generous donation of gift cards, household items, groceries, and so many more wish list items.

Thank you for your continued support in the fight against domestic violence!
