Trinity Church’s mission is to fill its people with the love of God
and share God’s love in all the world.
-------------------------------------------------------
In a sea of theological Christian conservatism that seeks to exclude and judge, Trinity Church is a lifeboat for people who are seeking a faith community that is open and affirming of all of God's children - a place for believers, seekers and doubters to find a welcoming place to engage in spirituality, missions and outreach to residents of Northborough and points beyond.

As we get ready to celebrate the Fourth of July holiday, let us give thanks to God for the United States of America and pray that God continues to bless its people with liberty, peace, justice, and prosperity for all! | |
As summer warmth takes hold, the Deacons continue our work on Trinity's future. As you know, there are exterior projects to consider and there is a group who is looking at what next steps are.
In tandem with that we have a newly formed group who are working on grants to help Trinity subsidize that work.
The Deacons are also looking into getting help with the growth of our church. There are others who have done this very successfully before us with the aid of a "coach'- we will keep you posted as we identify this path forward. We continue to see bright smiles, good attendance and a wonderful sense of optimism for the future.
We hope you enjoy summer at Trinity Church and find where you feel called to help us in our future endeavors.

Where do you see beauty in your life? We will be celebrating art and beauty during a worship service in August. Do you have a painting, photo, craft, or piece of art, made by you, your child or grandchild, or friend, that is meaningful to you? It could be a picture, a photo of someplace you have been, or your grandmother's handmade quilt. We would love to have you share your story with the congregation.
Please email Rita at trinitychurchnboro@gmail.com and join us for this service celebrating joy and beauty through the arts.

Hello Trinity Church Community!
After we wrap up June with a long-overdue Hymn Sing Service and a fun fellowship with ice cream, we now look toward the Summer. Here is a quick look at what music things are happening at Trinity in July:
Song of the Month - “The Lord’s Prayer” - #307 in Chalice Hymnal (Listen to a similar version HERE)
Sung Benediction - “Through It All” - #555 in Chalice Hymnal (Listen the original version HERE)
July 7th - Communion themed music & a Piano Postlude by Pam Jones
July 14th - A mix of Praise & Worship songs with some modern hymns
July 21st - All hymns and Special Music will be played on the Organ.
June 30th - Special Music featuring Lee Paytner
With all of the music ensembles on break for Summer, you can expect more variety of Special Music and Sharing of Gifts. I am hoping to organize a few solos/small groups for unique Specials throughout the months of July and August to cover for the music ensembles. If you are interested & willing (or have a recommendation), reach out to me so we can discuss possibilities and scheduling. The Worship Committee is also looking for a few new ideas for ways our congregation can worship and/or engage with its community. Send any thoughts or suggestions to myself or Jean Leif, to then share with the Committee at our next meeting.
I am planning to hold another Sound System training class on July 21st after the Coffee Hour Fellowship. This is open to anyone and will focus on how we set up the sound system for Coffee House Open Mic or outside services. Please let me know if you would like to attend. We are hoping to find 1-2 more people to assist with the rotation of coverage for these events.
I was filled with so much joy and felt the love of God by how openly our community embraced the open and affirming songs & sermons presented during the past month. Let us continue into July with the same attitude and spirit.
Until We Meet Again,
Scott Arnold (he/him)
Music Director of

STEEPLE AND EXTERIOR MAINTENANCE UPDATE | |
On May 21st, the Finance and Property Committee voted to form an Exterior Restoration and Maintenance Task Force to focus on organizing our efforts around steeple maintenance, bell restoration, and other time-sensitive exterior painting and repair projects.
Trinity recently received an assessment and cost estimates for a couple of options for bell repairs from a bell specialist.
We must decide which option to pursue. Given the growing complexity and cost of this overall project, it was determined that a task force will help us focus on all aspects of project planning and execution. If you are interested in participating in the task force, please contact Pete Carlsen at trinitynorthborotreas2@gmail.com. Thank you.

Give to Trinity Church
“Give to others, and God will give to you. Indeed, you will receive a full measure, a generous helping, poured into your hands—all that you can hold. The measure you use for others is the one that God will use for you.” – Luke 6:38, Good News translation
Taking our cue from Jesus, looking to God as our Source and Supply for all our needs, let us give to Trinity Church with a cheerful and generous heart, knowing God’s storehouse is always overflowing with abundance – an abundance which can never be diminished or run dry.
Thank you for sharing your time, talent, and treasure with Trinity Church!
If you're paying by check, please make checks payable to Trinity Church. Our mailing address is 23 Main St, Northborough, MA 01532.
You can also use “bill pay” and have your bank mail a check to us on a regular schedule set up by you, at no cost. Or give online at www.trinitynorthborough.org/donate
