Phase II of the Connect America Fund proceedings gave Viasat Carrier Services and Fond Du Lac Communications a collective $20 million, distributed over a decade, during the end of the auction process. Grants from the Federal Communications Commission through the fund now total $1.47 billion for improved broadband connectivity.
