Federal Grant Opportunities & Quick Tips
There are literally thousands of grants available through the Federal government. Each opportunity has its own eligibility requirements. Here are some quick tips:
  • If eligibility states that 501(c) 3 non-profits are eligible, it is likely that 501(c) 6's are not eligible unless otherwise stated.
  • If given the opportunity to sit in on a webinar, watch one that was previously recorded, or sit in on a live prsentation, take the opportunity.
  • When in doubt if something is eligible, reach out to the specific contact for the grant in question.
  • Do your research & apply early. Federal grants have a multiple step process with deadlines for each step.
  • Visit the Grants.gov website to learn at your own pace with Grants 101.
  • Use the Grants.gov website to search for grants Here.
