HAITI FUNDRAISER

SATURDAY - JULY 13 - 5:00PM

Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 13th in the Fellowship Hall. We will gather at 5:00pm for appetizers and welcoming video. Please let us know you are coming by using the link to RSVP so we can have a dinner head count. We are asking a $20 donation for adults and $5.00 for kids for the meal. Free Child Care in the nursery will be provided for the little ones. We are also in the process of receiving donations to the Envelope Challenge. During the next few weeks, you may be asked to pick an envelope and to donate the amount on the envelope from $1.00 to $100.00. We are aiming to raise $5,050. Of course, other donations are always welcomed. This tax-deductible donation will be presented to Chedlin to be able to get the children settled in their new temporary home safe from the gangs in Cap Haitian. Please contact Kathy Johnson (wojo2005@gmail.com or 919.622.1059 if you have questions.

POETRY & PRAISE SERVICE

SUNDAY - JULY 28 - 5:00PM

On July 28, the @ The Table Service will be an in-person service featuring poetry, prose and special music written and arranged by Van-Anthoney Hall. If you write poetry, prose or inspirational narratives, we would love to include them as part of our worship that day! It’s not a requirement that you read what you share; you are welcome to read it yourself or invite someone else to read it for you! Please contact Van-Anthoney (vananthoney.h@gmail.com) or Frank Mansell (frank@wbpresbyterian.org) to share your writings. And mark your calendars for a future Poetry and Praise Service on August 11. Thank you for your help in collaborating on this special worship service!
