S & P Cleaning Services, Inc.
The Bardstown-Nelson County Chamber of Commerce would like to recognize S & P Cleaning Services, Inc. as the Spotlight of the Month.
S&P Cleaning Service is owned by Stacy and Paul Bowling. The business was started in 2003, and began with one single office here in Bardstown. From there, the business flourished and now primarily operates in both Hardin and Nelson Counties.
The key to success, according to owner Stacy Bowling, is providing a personal level of communication with building managers. “When a manager has an issue or the needs of the office have changed, we want them to be able to call us directly to discuss. This, along with providing excellent quality, is what makes us different”.
According to Bowling, the business primarily grew due to “word of mouth” from business managers, as they have never really found the need to advertise. “Our business basically grew on it’s own. When we started, we didn’t anticipate or plan for it to get as big as it has. We are extremely grateful for all our team members.”
In the beginning, services were primarily rendered by the owners themselves. Today, after 20 plus years in business, S&P employs almost 40 people in 5 counties.
