MEET JOHN FAHY
May of 2019 marked 7 years with ARP Materials for John Fahy! His previous roles were not with either rubber nor plastics so he knew he needed to understand polymer science and begin to feel comfortable with the technology.

With the help of University of Akron polymer programs, and through affiliations with the American Chemical Society and the Rubber Divisions, the transition was quicker than he had expected.

"The way that I was welcomed into the rubber industry was extremely inviting! Continuous improvement is key even now. I enjoy constantly learning about new technologies, processes, and materials offered to the many industries that we sell to." John stated.
John with his daughter, Bevin, at the father-daughter dance
John graduated from Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ where he played basketball on scholarship and baseball as a “walk on”. He holds a BA in economics and in HR Management with a Certification in Project Management.

John is currently studying for his Six Sigma Blackbelt through Villanova University.

At ARP, John's territory includes many Midwestern states and expanding westward.

When John isn't speaking to customers about rubber, he enjoys being a "cheer" dad, boating and playing basketball!
