Our Men’s Cooking Team has a tradition of meeting monthly, on Saturdays, to make dozens of delicious meat loaves for the homeless at Salvation Army. We have had to adapt in this new world. Since we can’t meet to cook, we will donate 50 lbs. of ground beef and two cases of frozen vegetables each to the Underground Kitchen and St. Michael’s Episcopal Church to prepare meals for some of our region’s most vulnerable homeless. Each week we also send food directly to the Salvation Army as our Food Force contributions since those teams are not meeting monthly. In addition, Nancy Warman provides food cards to those in desperate need to feed their families. We hear God’s call to feed the hungry.
We give out of a response to God's love, and call to love and to
DO. Your gifts enable St James’s to deliver live streaming worship on Sundays at 10:00 a.m. and Evening Prayer on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. as well as to enable our ministries to others.
