work experience to focus on addressing Africa’s widespread failures in leadership.

The vision of the ALT Foundation is transforming leadership as the key to an Africa that works for everyone. The organization’s mission is to train 1 million leaders in 10 African countries by 2050.
The Foundation’s African Women’s Leadership and Mental Wellbeing Course (AWLC) is an online course that has seen over 1,300 women trained, including women refugees at the Nakivale and Kakuma camps in Uganda and Kenya.
The Certificate in Leadership for Faith Changemakers (CLFC) challenges the faith community to leverage their spirituality to solve some of the world's most complex problems. The course is on track to train 1,000 faith leaders by the end of the year.
The InnoVuntu project (https://innovuntu.org) represents the unity of two goals: innovation and ubuntu. The project seeks for mobilize Zambia’s leaders, innovators, and change agents to catalyze a more resilient food system.

Nelson Mandela encapsulated the many interpretations of this ancient African word by calling ubuntu an African concept that means “the profound sense that we are human only through the humanity of others; that if we are to accomplish anything in this world, it will in equal measure be due to the work and achievements of others”.
