Hi all,

Happy Summertime! This one has been especially hot and humid, so do your best to stay cool and well hydrated. July has the official designation as National Ice Cream Month, and I do think having a scoop or cone of your favorite ice cream is one excellent way to keep cool.

Staying hydrated can be as simple as drinking the amount of water that is half your body weight in ounces. For example, if you weigh 160 lbs, then you should drink 80 ounces of water or whatever is your favorite fluid. It sounds like a lot, but if you keep a container with you during the day and take occasional sips, then little by little you can get to your daily total.

A reminder that the office will be closed for our vacation from Sunday 7/21 through Sunday 7/28. We will return to the office on Monday 7/29.

I hope you are doing well and living the healthy lifestyle!

All my best,

Dr Dave
