Eleina brings over 20 years of finance experience, including as a Bank of America executive, where she played a pivotal role during the 2008 mortgage crisis, helping prevent foreclosures for thousands of homeowners. Guided by the Japanese philosophy of Ikigai, Eleina's personal connection to economic justice drives her work. She now focuses on this cause and consulting for non-profits, governments, and small startups. In her new role, Eleina will support our small business lending programs and provide comprehensive strategic support to the Executive Director.
Outside of work, Eleina is a mother to four beautiful children and an avid social and creative writer, public speaker, mentor, and coach to youth and adults alike. She is originally from the East Coast and a first-generation American with Berber roots—the Indigenous people of Morocco. While she misses the seasons, she has resided in Queen Creek for over 10 years and appreciates that in Arizona, “you don’t have to shovel sunshine!”
