Message from Dean Egerstedt

I am happy to share that we received our best ranking ever in the recent U.S. News & World Report. The Samueli School of Engineering is on a steep, upward trajectory and is now ranked 17 among public universities and 31 overall - an increase of three places over last year. I am so grateful for the hard work and dedication of our faculty, staff and students who have made this happen. And speaking of students, last week we wrapped up the academic year with another spectacular engineering commencement, where more than 1,000 students became certified Anteater engineers!

Best,

Magnus Egerstedt, Ph.D.
