"A Scout Is..."
Introducing a new monthly series we'd like to call "A Scout Is...", where we aim to highlight Scouts within our district who actively embody our core values. Each month, we will showcase a different value. Keep an eye out within your units for Scouts who are living examples of the Scout Law and inform us! Our first feature will be next month: "A Scout is Trustworthy." Do you have examples in your unit? Submit them HERE!

It’s that time! Registration renewals have started for anyone who joined in August (and will continue as everyone hits their 12 month mark.)
This process is brand new for all of our awesome leaders and parents, so please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions you might have. Your Commissioner Team is here to help!
Couple of important notes:
-
Please note- at this time, not all Key 3 leaders are getting emails regarding renewals, so we're encouraging these leaders to check manually on my.scouting > Menu > Organization > Organization Manager > Roster
- As with initial registrations, only COR/COR delegates may approve/disapprove adult leader renewals
-
Leaders with Organization access: if you want to automatically approve applications (youth and adults), go to my.scouting > Menu > Organization > Organization Manager > Settings and select "Allow auto approve renewals”
- NOTE- if a youth or leader opted out of registration renewal and now wishes to renew, at this time, they will need to reapply online (or paper application if you don't accept online apps)
- Council is working on an FAQ that will assist Scouters with this process- stay tuned!
