PPI retreat

The PPI team met July 6-7 to plan for the year ahead and discuss ways to better serve you! The retreat included a field trip to Milford State Park where staff learned about environmental issues the park faces throughout the year and completed a service project that included trash pickup and path clearing.
 
New federal funds are unlocking the potential of industrial heat pumps, or IHPs, to cut emissions and reduce operating costs for companies. IHPs efficiently transfer heat, making them vital for electrifying industrial processes. With tax credits and funding opportunities, companies can now invest in IHPs to accelerate their sustainability efforts. If you are interested in investing in IHPs and have questions, PPI can help. Hazardous waste handlers are required to complete training annually, and new employees must be trained within six months of taking a position that requires they handle hazardous waste. This training needs to be documented and maintained for at least three years. 

PPI offers online training that includes a certificate of completion for $50 per user.
