Annual Celebration of the 7-String Guitar
Member Hosted Event
Date: Thursday, July 7
Time: 7:07 pm
Location: Odd Fellows Hall (upper hall)
415 2nd St
Davis, CA 95616

The 15th Annual Celebration of the 7-String Guitar concert will showcase diverse types of music, featuring an international 7-string acoustic guitarist and recording artist Adrian Bellue, a violin and guitar duo, and the Multi-String Guitar Ensemble. Bellue’s fingerstyle will mesmerize the audience, and the McCaskey-Grasso duo will serenade us with movie themes and classical standards on violin and guitar.

The concert also includes the world premiere of Matthew Grasso’s Seven Pandemic Preludes for various combinations of guitars. These works were written in an effort to keep people connected and performing music through the arduous time of isolation forced by the pandemic. It is a spiritual quest for hope and beauty.

The program will last about an hour. This annual concert on July 7th celebrates innovative guitar designs and a wide variety of literature that highlight the artistry of the guitar.
