QolorFLEX NuNeon At Opera Santa Barbara |

As the first opera to re-open to a live audience in the Southern California region, François-Pierre Couture's lighting design for Das Rheingold's Rainbow Bridge at the Lobero Theatre in Santa Barbara, California, produced by Opera Santa Barbara, was nearly as bold as the show itself, with the help of 16 reels of QolorFLEX NuNeon, RGB. Since the Orchestra was staged on a series of risers, QolorFLEX NuNeon® was used to define and frame the negative space while bringing focus to the stage through a series of concentric portals. The lighting team found ease of installation allowed them to keep their load-in to one day, with two days of prep, giving this production a big advantage. Read the case study for more.
