A successful classroom invites students to question and explore. It helps to set up an elementary class in sections: One for read-aloud time, one for the classroom library, one for science activities and hands-on learning, one for the students' belongings, etc. For secondary students, it helps having specific areas where they know they can find assignments, see what's planned for the day, and get books for specific subjects. Back to school time can be stressful and overwhelming for everyone, but it's important to be reminded of all safety procedures for children. Remember to safely share the roads with school buses, pedestrians and bicyclists, and provide children with the knowledge to stay safe at school. Injuries are common at school-but many can be prevented. Before you send your children off, be sure to run through these safety topics.  View Article
