Ministry News
Children's Ministry
Our Scuba-themed Vacation Bible School wrapped up last week and had us diving deeper into friendship with God. Alongside the forty one K-5th graders who joined our program, we learned that God is a friend who is real, who loves, whom we can trust, and who is a friend forever. More than 30 volunteers helped us put on this amazing event, with over-the-top decorations, impactful lessons, and memorable moments. Watch our fun recap video here! During the week, our kids also donated $1397 going to World Vision, the largest amount we have ever seen donated from VBS!
Outdoor Ministry
The outdoor ministry has had a fun summer so far! We had a wonderful nature walk around Cherry Creek on June 15th as well as a moderate hike in Stauten Park on June 22nd. Also, we have a fun day at Aurora Reservoir coming up. We want to know what else you would like to see! Sign-up for notifications at the Get Connected tables and let us know what else you enjoy doing!
Chefs of Grace
The Chefs of Grace did a fantastic job keeping all the volunteers and kids fed at Vacation bible school last week! From the pancake breakfast to the hotdogs and watermelon, every bite was delicious! If you enjoy cooking and serving others with various food events and activities this team is looking for more Chefs! You can contact Rhonda Mott to get more details and sign-up!
