Sacred Sites Tour
Don’t miss this special opportunity, May 18, 9:00 am-3:00pm
Tour of three local sacred indigenous sites led by Jim Bear Jacobs (Mohican), the Program Director for Racial Justice for the Minnesota Council of Churches. The intent of the tour is to learn about Minnesota history from the Native perspective, through silence, meditation, reflection, and hearing stories. We will board a bus together to take us from site to site: Fort Snelling State Park, Dakota internment camp following the Dakota-U.S. War, and Pilot Knob Hill, a traditional burial ground.
Cost: $20/person. Includes bus and tour fee. Bring your own lunch and beverage. Though not appropriate for young children, we encourage high school age and above. (Perhaps for independent learning credit?)
Sign Up Before May 1: The maximum number of participants is 50, and we need 50 to keep the cost at this level. Open now to Judson members and friends. On May 1, registration will be opened up to Trust Churches and the Kingfield neighborhood.
Call the office or sign up in the back of the sanctuary. Your $20 payment reserves your spot.
Scholarship aid is available upon request. Contact Eileen in the church office.
Tour sponsored by our Racial Justice Team; supported by the Judson Gordon Smith Fund.

Mustard’s Retreat will be appearing live in concert
at Judson Church at 3:00 pm on April 28, 2024!
Libby Glover and David Tamulevich are Mustard’s Retreat, based out of Ann Arbor, Michigan. They have been making music together since the early 1970’s—music that will “cure what ails you”.
Libby and David have entertained music lovers around the US and Europe with their often humorous, heartfelt, poignant, and healing songs. Their concerts of lively folk music have been termed “defiantly hopeful”. Before you know it, you will find yourself tapping your toes, clapping your hands, and maybe even moved to sing along. Don’t miss this opportunity to be defiantly hopeful too!
Local Minneapolis artist Glenn Elvig will open for Mustard’s Retreat.
