Next Sunday, April 7, is communion Sunday (if you have breath, you are welcomed at the table). We will welcome singer/songwriter Glen Elvig and Mustard's Retreat as our guest musicians. Last year, Glen performed a song at Dinner and Show that sounded like a perfect communion song. He will perform A Place at the Table as our communion invitation.
Save the Date: Jackie Thureson’s memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 11 am.
Help is needed for the reception following the April 6th service for Jackie Thureson. We need your help with set-up, serving, and clean-up for the reception following the service for Jackie. We will also be providing bars for the reception. Please let me know if you can bring bars.
We need two (2) folks for some initial set-up on Friday morning, April 5th, at 10 am. On Saturday, April 6th, we need:
- Two (2) folks at 10:15 am. to cut and plate bars.
- Four (4) folks immediately following the 11 am. service to assist with food and beverage set-up and monitoring.
- Four to five folks (4-5) for clean-up.

Save the Date: Dinner and a Show returns on Saturday, April 13. Dinner at 5:30 pm and show at 7 pm. Urban Growler will provide the food. Kid-friendly and veggie options will be available. Suggested donation is $20-More details to follow.
Embracing Your Inner Child Presentation, next Sunday after worship, the pastor will offer a "beta" version of his presentation Embracing Your Inner Child: How Mister Rogers, Sesame Street, Ted Lasso and Howard Thurman Can Strengthen Faith at Any Age. Travis will present this workshop for Space for Grace in Philadelphia on April 10 and 11. The presentation is 90 minutes (expect to color, sing, laugh, maybe cry). Let Travis know you are coming (he is compensating those who attend and provide feedback with pizza, drinks, and cookies).
New Member Class. The next series of new member classes will take place on April 15 and April 22, 7-8 pm via Zoom. If you would like to join or learn more about this amazing community of faith, please let the pastor know or email him at gtnorvell@judsonchurch.org.
Baptisms at Judson. The date for baptisms at Judson has been moved to June 9th (we need to make sure it is warm enough). Classes will take place in May (both in-person and via Zoom). If you would like to be a part of this cohort, please talk with the pastor, or email him at gtnorvell@judsonchurch.org. The baptism class can also function as a Confirmation Class for those who were baptized as infants.
