Calendar - February calendar

 Welcome to Judson Memorial Baptist Church. Today is Communion Sunday; at Judson Church we believe communion is not a prize for the holy but a meal of grace for all. Please know our invitation to the table is meant for you! This morning, Nikki Sanders will offer a Personal Reflection. We desire to have two personal reflections a month. They are an opportunity for those who call Judson home to share something deep and meaningful from their lives with the community. This morning also includes a Guided Meditation by Carolyn Kolovitz, our Spiritual Formation Director. Last but not least, Corey Heart will not be singing this morning as part of Time with Children.

Ash Wednesday - February 14^th, 6:30-6:45 pm. Can you think of a better way to celebrate Valentine's Day than by observing Ash Wednesday? Neither can I! Happy VaLENTines's Day or Happy Ashentine's Day...

You can purchase tulips, mums, hydrangeas, or pansy bowls in memory of or in honor of someone you love and watch our Sanctuary bloom. There are forms on the table in the back of the sanctuary. Empty Bowls – 10:30 am The 13th Annual Kingfield Empty Bowls event will occur on “Soup-er Bowl” in the fellowship hall. Once again, we welcome our community to come together to fight hunger and homelessness in our area while sharing a delicious meal and lively conversation. Empty Bowls is an annual community event that raises money to support food and housing insecurity. This year’s event will support Nicollet Square and TRUST-Meals on Wheels. Please join us on Soup-er Bowl Sunday (2/11) for a pre-game meal supporting our partners.

Lenten Prayer Series

What is Prayer? Is prayer a conversation between us and God or a way of connecting with our own wisdom? Is there a difference between prayer and meditation? What does it mean to live each moment of our lives in continual prayer? In this online series, Carolyn Kolovitz will facilitate an exploration of these questions and a variety of prayer practices. During the first session, we'll hear the questions, ideas, and experiences of one another and then practice centering prayer. All sessions will be 10:15 - 11:00am via zoom. Carolyn Kolovitz, Spiritual Formation Director.

Meals on Wheels - Did you know that we serve frozen meals to over 75 clients every week? We deliver those meals in handled paper bags, so, we always need HANDLED paper bags. If you have anything to donate, please drop off at Judson Church, 4101 Harriet Ave S. There is a yellow covered bin by the red door where paper bags can be placed anytime. Thank you!
