Rebuilding lives, one extraordinary woman at a time.

WELCOME ELISABETH JARRARD,

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The Jubilee Women’s Center Board of Directors is excited to welcome Elisabeth Jarrard to the organization as its new Executive Director.

Elisabeth brings extensive experience in the affordable housing and emergency services provider sectors. Over the past decade at Compass Housing Alliance, she held multiple leadership roles including Director of Advancement, Interim Executive Director, and Director of Human Resources.

“Elisabeth brings a wealth of leadership experience from the local non-profit community,” says Rosemary Dunigan, President of the Board of Directors. “We are excited to welcome her to lead Jubilee Women’s Center as we grow and evolve to meet the needs of women in our community, continuing and building upon the work we have been doing for over 40 years.”

Raised in the Seattle area, Elisabeth earned her Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology with a focus on trauma at Northwest University. Her background includes providing clinical support to women exiting homelessness and serving individuals facing domestic violence. This firsthand experience has fueled Elisabeth’s passion for supporting and empowering the women served by Jubilee Women’s Center.

“I am wholeheartedly aligned with the mission and programming of Jubilee Women’s Center. It is needed, and it is effective,” says Elisabeth. “When we support each other, our entire community benefits.”

For the past several months, Liz Swanson, Senior Associate with the Valtas Group, has served as Interim Executive Director, providing leadership and stability during the transition. She will ensure a smooth handover as Elisabeth Jarrard officially joins Jubilee Women’s Center at the end of May.

We invite the community to join us in welcoming Elisabeth and supporting her in this new role. In the coming months, we'll be sharing opportunities to get to know Jubilee's new leader. Together, we can continue to make a positive impact on the lives of women in our community.

Sincerely,

The Board of Directors
